The Government of Malaysia organizes from 31 October to 2 November the “Workshop to raise awareness of coastal and marine protection and conservation issues and its importance to the Blue Economy” which will be held at JEN Penang Georgetown by Shangri-La, Penang Island.

The workshop is primarily aimed at representatives of Ministries of Tourism or related authorities, who have direct oversight, involvement and responsibility in coastal and marine conservation and/or sustainable development of coastal and marine tourism, policy makers and program managers of the Ministry of Tourism or related authorities, to mid-level managers, technical personnel and field personnel in related fields.
