Italy’s first trade fair entirely dedicated to the sea and its resources SEALOGY®, due to the current health emergency, decided to transfer this year’s event to the virtual platform. SEALOGY® Digital Preview took place on 19-22 November 2020. It is the European Exhibition on Blue Economy and aims to become the international reference event for the Blue Economy sectors.

The event was organized by Ferrara Fiere Congressi, Bologna Fiere and supported by significant representatives of the Blue Economy sectors such as the European Commission, Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Ministry of Education, University and Research, Emilia-Romagna Region, Unioncamere, Cluster BIG – Blue Italian Growth (Italy-IORA Committee member), MEDAC – Mediterranean Advisory Council, MSC-Marine Stewardship Council, Federparchi, Associazione Mediterranea Acquacoltori, Unci Agroalimentare, and several other influential stakeholders.

SEALOGY® Digital Preview is a virtual international event focused on supporting and promoting practices, experiences, technical and specialized content. It is also a showcase for business with opportunities for discussions, exchange of ideas and advice, to offer concrete help for the economic and entrepreneurial development to all the players of the Blue Economy.

The event addresses the public with a combination of entertainment and educational activities, covering the different aspects of the Blue Universe, and it develops into three main sections:

–         Blue Webinars and Digital Workshops that include interactive webinars with international speakers, sector-specific experts, and distinguished representatives of the institutions,

–         B2BLUE – Blue Brokerage Events and Cluster Act Matching Event that suggest innovative solutions or products applied to the Mediterranean maritime sector to an audience of private investors,

–         Blue Shows, which are video contributions on various topics of the blue universe, telling about corporate projects, real-life expectancies, videos, podcast interviews, and themed cooking shows, all dedicated to the entertainment of the viewers.
