In Hanoi, at the headquarters of Casa Italia which spreads and promotes Italian culture in Vietnam, an international conference was organized on 11 and 12 January on the conclusion of the project “Italy-ASEAN Virtual Learning Center on cultural heritage and sustainable development”, consisting of the creation of an online learning platform aimed at professionals and officials in the cultural heritage sector from Italy and ASEAN member states. The platform allows you to attend training courses and share knowledge and experiences relating to the sustainable management of cultural heritage.

The work of the conference was divided into two round tables in which experts from Italy and ASEAN member states participated, some of whom also join the organization of the IORA, who discussed various aspects and problems related to the management sustainable cultural heritage. Among the topics covered, also with a view to future activities, the issue of the environment was identified, including the effects of climate change on cultural heritage, as a possible topic for discussion on the Virtual Learning Center.
