On the initiative of the European Commission (DG Mare), a conference entitled “A new approach for a sustainable blue economy” will be held on 18 November 2021 during the Sealogy® trade fair, focused on the themes of the Blue Economy. The Conference offers the opportunity to discuss the importance of sustainable blue economic to provide climate-resistant, healthy and productive oceans and seas in Europe. It will be an opportunity to highlight how this approach is essential for achieving the objectives of the European Green Deal and how it complements other recent Commission initiatives on biodiversity, food, knowledge, and more, ensuring a green and inclusive recovery from the pandemic.
