Encouraging the interaction and development of sea networks is one of the main objectives of the Blue Forum Summit, which will be held in the Gulf of Gaeta on 17 and 18 June, facing the islands of Ventotene and Santo Stefano. The two days, presented at a press conference in the European Space in Rome, last May, will see the participation of representatives of the Government, the main national and European institutional and associative subjects, military authorities, companies and important realities operating in the sector of sea.
At the center of the discussion of the 1st Blue Forum Italia Network Summit is the transition from Blue Growth to a sustainable Sea Economy; the creation of a network of all sea users that takes up the challenges of Europe and the sharing of a Blue Manifesto for a Sustainable, Inclusive and Innovative Sea Economy, an open document on which the main national stakeholders are working. During the Forum, the X National Report on the Economy of the Sea will also be presented, produced by Unioncamere and the Study Center of the Guglielmo Tagliacarne Chambers of Commerce, on behalf of the Frosinone-Latina Chamber of Commerce which annually provides the updated picture of the economic dimension of the sector. The Summit will also host the 6th Assonautica Italiana System Conference. Among the other scheduled events, the Blue Think Tank of The European House – Ambrosetti and the assignment of the ‘Blue Economy Start-Up Award‘.
