On 23 and 24 February, the University of Mauritius is organizing a two-day hybrid brainstorming seminar on “Post COVID-19 – Sustainable innovation to get the economy back on track“. This virtual brainstorming workshop aims at bringing together Government, Academia, and Industry representatives from the IORA Member States to discuss innovative strategies adopted by the IORA MS to cope with the pandemic and share good country practices. It will provide a platform to reflect on a sectoral approach and build innovation clusters, enable Member States to tap opportunities and build on proven experience as well as address capacity gaps. The event will focus on 4 key sectors namely: 1) The Blue Economy; 2) Tourism; 3) Health; 4) Circular Economy. A half-day brainstorming will be devoted for each sector.
