From 9 to 11 July the 4th National Summit on the Sea Economy – Blue Forum will be held in Rome, the main Italian event dedicated to the integrated governance and development of one of the strategic pillars of the country’s economy.
The Blue Forum is a unique event on the national scene: every year it brings together all public and private stakeholders from all sectors of the Sea Economy for a transversal and constructive discussion.
The 2025 edition will open on Wednesday 9 July at the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, in the presence of Minister Adolfo Urso, with the presentation of the XIII National Report on the Sea Economy, produced by OsserMare and Centro Studi Tagliacarne – Unioncamere.
The title chosen for this edition is ‘Creare Valore – Il Mare nell’anno del Giubileo’ (Creating Value – The Sea in the Jubilee Year), which also marks the Summit’s debut in the capital, in the symbolic heart of the Holy Year, after the previous editions held in Gaeta, with the partnership of the Apostolato del Mare – CEI and under the high patronage of the European Parliament. Important ecclesiastical representatives will be present.
The aim is to promote an integrated vision of the Sea Economy as the key to Italy’s economic, cultural and social development, in dialogue with all the sectors involved.
