The seventh edition of SEAFUTURE will be held in La Spezia from June 14th to 17th at the Italian Navy Base.
SEAFUTURE is the hub on the Mediterranean Sea for the Blue Economy. It aims to emphasize the balance between the protection of the Sea and Sea as an economic resource. It corresponds to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out in the UN agenda for people, planet, and prosperity towards 2030 and fits the Integrated maritime Policy of the European Commission. It is a model for industrial excellence and competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation. Respective entities and institutions support SEAFUTURE and Fincantieri is a strategic sponsor of the event.
SEAFUTURE 2021 is the business convention for maritime and dual-use technologies: unique in the Mediterranean basin, implemented inside a Navy Base. It will have a technological focus on Underwater, Safety&Security, Cybersecurity, Refitting, Maritime Transport, Maritime Surveillance. It is reserved for operators and represents the international networking event on maritime technologies, with an agenda of highly strategic and technological workshops, a calendar of B2B along with the whole duration of the venue, the presence of the most prestigious Italian and European companies in the sector of defense, maritime surveillance, safety&security, disaster prevention, and mitigation. Among attendees, there will be enterprises, the Italian Navy and Foreign Delegations, SMEs, universities, research institutes, technological clusters, and associations, institutions dealing with marine.
Thanks to the co-operation with the Italian Navy, SEAFUTURE hosts more than 40 foreign delegations among Navies and Coast Guards from all over the world, who are interested in meeting the participant enterprises, and know the Italian ecosystem of maritime technologies, to undertake the newest opportunities of research&innovation.
