Second edition of AQP Award – Water for Life
The world event dedicated to water “UN Water Conference 2023” is currently being held in New York inside the United Nations glass building. Among the very few Italian companies that have accredited themselves and are participating is Acquedotto Pugliese, a leading company that has distinguished itself over the years for “the strong propensity for promotion and sustainable development and the integrated management of water resources, so to encourage cooperation and partnerships at all levels” as the General Manager Francesca Portincasa said recently. AQP participates in the United Nations Conference with the intention of contributing to the Water Action Agenda launched to accelerate water actions. Cooperation for Maritime security
Sri Lanka, a member country of the IORA, is organizing a virtual seminar entitled “Cooperation for Maritime Security” which will be held from 21 to 23 March. Stakeholders and Dialogue partner States are invited to participate in this workshop in which we will discuss maritime security, a very important issue for the States bordering the Indian Ocean. The Indian Ocean is one of the most important maritime areas in the world whose geostrategic importance has grown hand in hand with the economic development of the regions bordering it. Interview to Eugenio Sgrò, a new Focal Point Italy-IORA
A new figure has recently arrived at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) who will be responsible for maintaining diplomatic and organizational relations with the IORA for Italy and he is the Councilor Eugenio Sgrò who, exclusively, is told on the Italy- IORA, with a short video interview. Sgrò, who has already participated in a panel on “fisheries and European standards” in the recent edition of the Diplomacy Festival, talks about himself after the recent mission to Bangladesh which saw him participate in the 22nd IORA Council of Ministers, the usual annual appointment for the Member States and dialogue partners, such as Italy, to take stock of the organization’s activities and organize the future.
